A state-of-the-art ‘Centre of Excellence’ (Centre of Excellence) on ‘Robotics’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ (AI) was inaugurated on Monday at ITI, Guwahati. State Government Minister Jayant Mallabarua inaugurated a state-of-the-art ‘Centre of Excellence’ built with the efforts of ‘Lernhill Foundation’ and ITI-Assam.

Addressing the people present on the occasion, Minister Jayant said that these centers will help teachers, youth and especially women in robotics, 3-D design and ‘artificial intelligence’.

The Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma will play a positive role in achieving Assam’s vision of creating a strong workforce. Regarding the establishment of these centers of excellence in all parts of the state for skill development, Minister Mallabarua mentioned that already these centers of excellence have already been established in six ITIs and Polytechnic Institutes of Assam under Industry-4.0 under the leadership of Chief Minister Tata Technology.

These centers will be set up in almost all ITIs and polytechnic institutes in the coming years. Moreover, youth from other backward regions including tea plantation regions

New steps have been taken for skill and technical development of young women. The inaugurated center of excellence equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to teach school-level electronics, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence and 3-D design and printing within six months. will make After the completion of this curriculum, the ‘Lernhill Foundation’ will organize job fairs to provide ‘placement’ to the candidates, he said.
