HAFLONG: The Dima Hasao Autonomous Council hosted a grand felicitation-cum-reception ceremony on Friday to honor Diksha Langthasa’s remarkable achievement of clearing the UPSC 2022 examination and becoming the first lady IPS officer from the Dima Hasao district. The event took place at the District Library Auditorium, where she was celebrated for securing an impressive 664th rank in the All India Civil Service examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa, led the felicitation proceedings and heartily congratulated Diksha Langthasa for bringing immense pride and glory to the district with her outstanding accomplishment. Addressing the gathered audience, CEM Gorlosa emphasized that the ceremony was not just a mere gesture of appreciation but also an opportunity to showcase how individuals from a relatively small district like Dima Hasao possess extraordinary potential to shine in prestigious positions like the Indian Police Service (IPS).
