In continuation with the relentless flood relief efforts in the Silchar Town of Assam, Srikona Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles & IGAR (East) extended a helping hand to the flood victims in the City of Silchar and Srikona.

The Medical teams of Srikona Battalion reached out to the local populace suffering from floods. The Srikona Battalion abreast by its extensive relief operations in the city rendered immediate medical aid to the flood victims. Two medical aid posts were set up to assess, advise and counsel health issues of around 435 locals to include 110 Children, 211 Women and 111 Men.

The humanitarian efforts of the Srikona battalion were highly appreciated by the locals. The success of the camps highlights the robust bilateral relations between Assam Rifles and local populace.
