The Very Prestigious Institute of Barak valley – NIT Silchar to hold up an event “Oikyotaan” for the 2nd term on 17th of April 2022 . The attraction of the event is Somlata Acharya, who is going to perform on that evening with her band ‘Somlata And The Aces’.
The fest is meant to welcome the Bengali New Year “Noboborsho”. The program is scheduled for throughout the day starting with the Morning Procession with “National Integrity” theme. Besides this the Cultural Heritage of all the regions of India will be displayed and after that the whole day program will be carried on.
Oikyotaan for the first time was held up on 2020 Virtually due to the rising Covid Pandemic. But this year National Institute of Silchar is all set to Conduct the event in the Campus where the locals & the students of other institutes will be joining in masses.
The magazine “Bornomala’’ is about to be promulgated in the evening in presence of the Institute faculty welcoming Bengali New Year.
A program of Ramp Walk is also listed in the Schedule of the Event which will be performed by the Students of the Institute
In this two headliner event where “Somlata And The Aces” is one which is about to mesmerize the audience. And the another one is yet to be revealed by the authority.
NIT Silchar has always been an attraction of the valley for its spontaneous fest & programs. For which the people of the Valley has witnessed the very well-known Celebrities of the Country.
